Yeah, I know

November 3, 2006

I see it has been awhile since I’ve posted last, and it’s not for a lack of anything to say. Despite this being a short week, it has gone by agonizingly slowly. I’m just impatient for my birthday I guess, but even more so for NEXT weekend, so I can actually go out and hits some bars. Here’s to hoping I can get a few good friends together for it.

Friday is always my short day, so I’ve haven’t had much to do, showered and dressed up fairly nicely, cleaned up the room because the girlfriend, and possibly one of her friends, is going to be spending the evening here watching a movie and doing who knows what, should be fun.

In Pokemon news, because I know you were dieing for some, I caught my first shiny! In my copy of emerald, while trying to level up one of my pokes I ran into a shiny Zubat. You can imagine my disappointment in the fact that my one and only shiny encounter was with the one Pokemon I despised most. The green little bat started to grow on me though, and I eventually evolved him twice into my Pink Crobat which I have learned to love! I am currently leveling him up a bit, then I plan to run him through the Toughness and Smartness contest halls. Speaking of Contest halls, I ran my Milotic through the Beauty contest and destroyed it. Had a great time doing it too!

Right now I am working on setting up a http://www.flickr.com/ account with some pictures, and a http://www.listal.com/ account with my games, music, movies and books listed and rated for you. I’ll throw links to their main pages on my links list, and as soon as I am satisfied with what I have, I’ll put links to my stuff up.

It’s been awhile since I have mentioned a blog, so I’m going to take this time to pimp out the Next Generation Podcast http://podcast.next-gen.biz/ I have to say that I have a soft spot for the British accent, and these guys don’t disappoint. The voice their opinions and insights through very intelligent discussions, and always have great interview sections of the podcast. This is one of the diamonds in the rough; I definitely suggest checking them out.

That’s all for now, I’ll be back later!
